Hey guys, I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Johann. You can call me Jo or by my alias "Nightfall" I traded in my 2005 Dodge SRT-4 with 19 thousand miles for a 2006 Daytona Blue 350Z with 22 miles on it. I love it! After reviewing some forums, I think this was the best choice, it seemed like it had plenty of info and great advice. Going from FWD to RWD was the best part. I love everything about the Z, expect noob questions as I’m still learning about the car.

Your z looks great. I've only had mine for about a month but I've heard they are somewhat questionable when the weather turns - but you won't have that problem down there! You're in the clear!

Hey, haha I curb checked it because I still didn't have a feel for the dimensions of the car compared to the SRT. That won't happen again! It is a base model, basicly up to what I could afford.

 

Congrats on you're purchase. I pick up my DB tomorrow... well today, its after midnight. As for things you should know, lots of stuff covered here on the boards but I think the biggest thing with 06 is to watch for oil consumption. Make sure your service department is good about it and you will be ok.

PS what do you think about the splash gaurds? Mine will be delivered with them on too, but I was thinking about taking them off. I've never seen them on a car in person though, so IDK...
