I agree the the H22 was a decent power plant.. But comon now, you (OP) really cant compare the two. One is sporty, the Z is a sports car....

But really, its all relative to what you are looking for.

Cheers,

I had a 92 Prelude and moved to a 350Z. Of course... the Z win hands down but I do miss the fact that I put a lot of work into my Prelude and don't have the money to do it with the Z because of the car note. (That will be changing soon)

Here is a pic of my old lude and my buddy's old lude.

Wish I kept my 97 Prelude but I wasn't thinking and let carmax steal it from me. Got the Z and never looked back, but it'd be nice to be putting some of the miles on the Prelude instead.

I really like the vtec engine in my prelude when the vtec kick in,i read the article in edmunds says the z engine has the same horsepower in every gear almost like a switch on and off feel.

I actually plan on getting another 4th gen after I graduate as a daily driver. The lude bring me to work and let the Z prepare for boost

Take it easy man, no where am I'm worshiping Honda but the Prelude was a very nice car for it being a 92. Hell, I'd rather drive a Prelude rather than a Civic.
