Default Honda --> Nissan Convert. 06 Redline

Just got my 2006 Redline today... I still thnk I paid too much but I'm happy I didnt settle for other offers and got the color I wanted at further dealership.

I was deciding between this or an S2000 and in the end I picked this because I wanted to try something that wasn't Honda. (My family has bought honda for years) and wow THE TORQUE. Let me add that to my vocabulary.

Plan to go Turbo hopefully by Summer if I can save enough money.
Gonna get a drop first tho (suggestions? I like to be at zero gap with stiff spring rates)

Oh, before this I had a 2004 RSX Type-S. I loved everything about it, except for the FWD part.
Here are some pics of the RSX -----EDIT: AND some pics of the Z. Nothing special. Can't get much closer to stock than this. attached below

It's cool guys don't worry,

Oh as for the integra badging, That's actually on the Driver's side on the rear but I don't have a shot of that.

But I hope the next pics I post up the site are pics of my Z.

Nice color choice I wanted that color also but I was afraid that it would be too common. Did you end up getting a base or enthusiast? Which dealership? How much was it OTD? Traded the RSX or still private selling it?

...and you should know who I am just by my name

Haha whats up.. Yeah I know I said I was getting a G but I weighed getting a New Z versus getting a used G. As for the Red... couldn't stand another black car and I figured, its a sports car, gotta get a wild color instead of white.

Got it from Reed Nissan in orlando. its a base 28,500 OTD. But i still think they coulda gone lower.

My family needs another car so my Dad is taking the rsx for now.

Yeah, the G cost to much right now. Z is the best choice at this point in life. Wow, you drove all the way to Orlando for it, thats nuts. The price isn't bad at all, when I was bargaining, I think I got invoice + $400 options + destination fee. People on the forums claim they paid lower, but I was at 4 different dealers and I couldn't get it lower. I figure price varies by region. Anyways, just a word of warning to help you out. Watch out when you gas it, because the torque breaks the back-end loose real easy and you fishtail. I crashed into the Median on Archer and 23rd recently because I gassed it too much on a turn in the rain. And also, the OEM tires suck for the rain so watch out. C ya in like 2 weeks man

damn how's the car? everything ok? guess just curbed up the rims a bit?

Nah, actually, they delivered it to my home in Boca. And I counted the miles so it had about 20 something miles on it plus delivery from orlando. Not too bad. Some might disagree but driving up to orlando would have been way too torublesome, but south florida only had whites, silvers, and blacks. I'm happy.

Thanks for the tip, gotta get together sometime when school starts, gonna be ordering some mods within a few weeks, save on shipping heh.

merry xmas.

Thanks, but this is more for an introduction for my new Z. Figure I post up pics of the old ride to consolidate the mess.

Don't worry you won't see any more pics of 'other' cars.

When you get a chance post photos of the new Z. Red is a show stopper.

Just I just curbed the rim a little. I was going slow so it wasn't that bad. The car spun 180. $360 to repair the bent arm. Oh that cool they delivered it, I would have taken that route also. Yea we should get together.

Merry xmas to you too!!

You should have seen it I think. the park and ride lot that's opposite from Southwest Rec Center. It's a lot with a parking garage at the back.

Alright i'll check it out sometime. It's a pity I'll probably up in gainesville most of the time though.
