Default I finally got my dream car!

Hey whats up?! I have been drooling over this car since it first came out! I am so freakin happy that I am driving a 350z! Anyways, I got it a couple weeks ago and im enjoying every drive. Here is the deal. believe or not, I just bought a 2006 eclipse gt in april. I paid the thing off in full!!! However, I just couldnt stop thinking of the Z (the original car I wanted). I just wanted a REAL sports car! So i traded in my eclipse for an 03 Le Mans Sunset touring w/ burnt leather seats (6 speed). I have always loved the bronze color... My only concern is that my z has around 50,000 miles . Is there anything significant that i should "look out for"???

***Proud to be a part of the 350z community***

nice trade got to say "you won't regrate it at all!!" I've wanted one since the first time i saw this silvertone one my friends boss had i worked my butt off for three years traded my prelude in and got an 06 with 5000 miles on it got a sweet deal, sunset, 6sp mt ofcourse fun car to have mine consumes 1 qt of oil every 500 miles and my dealer just put it on the problom list and are taking it to corp.my dealer has been very good to me and i hope that corp. does the same even though there has been a little problom I would buy another in a heart beat i love driving it and only want the problom fixed so i can enjoy it more, as far as anything to look out for just check the treads here drive it for a little bit and just do normal checkup and ask people question, everyone is more then nice and willing to share info here. But really the only true test is to drive it alot and have fun ,still lovin my Z!!!

Yeah, dream cars are supposed to be the ones that you will never ever be able to afford. Like a Bugatti Veyron, or a Koenigsegg CCX or even a Ferrari...specifically the 1962 250 GTO (MY DREAM CAR)

Yeah I know!!! LOL thats what i think to myself when i say the z is my dream car... but seriously, I would love to have a car like an Aston Martin, Porsche, Bugatti etc!!! There is just something i love about the Z. This was the car that i would drive over to the dealership and look at for hours... maybe twice a week! This went off and on for about year & 1/2! I just wanted this car so bad... I guess i could say I am obsessed....

Nice, just got my Lemans Z a few weeks ago too...its bad ***!

This car was my dream car and I don't feel weird saying it. I'm not interested in supercars or exotics and couldn't get one anyway. The Z is a realistic option and everything about it is awesome...and my next cars will probably be future Z's when they're made.

If you look at the bottom right corner of the post you want to reply to, you can "quote" someone instead of just re-writing what they said. It also puts the name of the member who said it.

Be careful of the transmission. A lot of people, including me, have had problems with the '03 6 speed tranny's. If it starts to grind going into gears, hurry up and take it to a dealer. They will replace it for the newer trans.

Yeah, I'd use the quote button. If I were responding to one person.

On the subject of Internet 101, you may notice that word "thread" is located in several spots around the page. Such as, reply to thread, search this thread, etc. Threads are something that generally have more than one person involved.

If you look closely you may even be able to post your own thread someday! Its a shame forums have to be so complicated, pressing large buttons, typing letters in a reasonable sequence, and all that.

But with people as knowledgeable as you, we are not in vain!
