I bought my 350Z about a month ago. It's a red one with 18k, 6 Speed, LoJack, "Gold Warranty". It was $20k. My first choice was a 2002-2004 Z06, but they were all around $30-35k. Maybe my 350Z will be fast enough.... we'll see.
The original owner was a grandma. She bought it for her grandson. With the "Gold warranty", LoJack and whatnot, she paid close to $40k at the dealer. But the grandson dropped out of college (which she was paying for) and went to work at Jamba Juice. The grandma got mad and took the 350z away from the 19 yr. old dude. So my name pays homage to da fool who was 2Cool4Skool.
When I got it, the tires were kinda shredded. There were chunks missing and I could see the fabric underneath in plain view. First thing I got were new tires and an alignment. Also, the brake calipers are painted red. But I don't like it cuz he got paint on the side. It's a ghetto paint job. Anyone know how to remove the ghetto paint? Would brake fluid remove it?
Check out da red calipers:

It's stock for now. I got me a set of Nismo 18" bronze LMGT4s for it already. Some stuff I'm planning on doing are: Hypermax RS coilovers (or KW Var3) , sound system, Hotchkis Sways, 5/16" Plenum Spacer, JWT Popcharger, Racing Brake 2-piece rotors, Hawk HPS pads (maybe HPS+), Stop Tech SS lines, footwell lighting, etc.
My other 2 cars is a 90 240sx which I just sold a couple days ago and my 95 Miata with I/H/E and chromoly flywheel which I will keep.
So when I first drove the 350z home, I kept it at 3-4k cuz I kept on forgetting to shift cuz I couldn't hear the engine. Compared to my Miata, the 350z is very quiet. No prob. I can get used to it.
Another thing I noticed was that people are always checkin out my Z. I mean like.... chicks stare at me. Chicks don't stare at me when I'm driving my Miata. What's up with that?
