Okay this is by far the worth goddamn forum I have ever been on.

I asked one question about the damn rims...and I get this feedback? Look you are some older people wasting your time on these forums with no life okay. All i wanted to know was about the rims, I do not care how I look, dress, or my parents, or my age. My parents are dead by the way, my grandparents bought me my car. Next thing, okay im sorry some of you that didn't get a 350Z when you were 16..and im sorry for that but is this not a forum where you can just talk about the car not my AGE or OMG HE'S GONNA WRECK IT all that. I am responsible, I am not going to kill myself in the car. It seems this forum never gets to a point when something is asked. Okay, I was not talking to all in this post but to most. on a more serious note. if you posted the wheels on here you obviously like them. IMO i think they are ugly and ricer looking. If you like them buy them. Its your car not ours.

 

Just do some cosmetic stuff to start off with. Nice set of wheels, window tint, springs and then youll be riding clean.

 

Just read through the other pages of this thread. Give the dude a break. Does not matter which way he has his hat turned, or how low his pants are, and if he thought about putting those ninja star looking wheels on his Z. Don't hate on him because he received a Z at 16. Not like all 16 year olds will wrap it around a tree. Welcome to the forum.

 

see why your getting flamed is your 2 post you told one of the members to go f- himself, that showing serious lack of any tyoe of respect-most of the guys usually wait until they know each other or they have talked a bunch on here...also 1 out of 50 billion pics should you post pics of yourself over the internet forums(this is not myspace) the best way to approach this was to say "i recently got my z just wanted to stop by and intro myself"..the reason half the guys say your too young is most of them including me have seen the consequences of a 16 yr old in a high preformance car..now im not tyring to flame you but take everything with a grain of salt on here....also you made a intro to myself plus what rims should i get into one thread not good idea..oh well my 2 cents have a good day

Alot of the poeople on this forum are in their 20's and 30's and alot had their Z in their teens including myself. Alot of the young kids like yourself that come here know nothing about the car and expect people to hand feed them answers to all their question. There is a search function and multiple different sections on this site. Use them to your benefit.

Check out the photogalleries and see what people here are doing to their cars and you'll notice that those wheels you posted are NOT what you want to put on a Z and you will get laughed at by any Z enthusiast. If you want to impress the kiddies at school or the 16 yr old girls those rims will probably work, but they wont fly with any real enthusiasts. Most people here are very knowledgeable and are huge Z fans and modders, some probably had past gen Z's(i myself was researching and learning and reading about this car when you were 10). Understand that.

 

Lol, don't be sorry. I got mine 2.5 months before I was 18, so if you do the math I was still 17, not bad. But the difference between us is that I worked for my car. I admit my parents paid extra costs such as putting me on their insurance and stuff, but still, it wasn't just handed to me as it was to you. And the way you come here and make a thread "16 and a Z as my present?", what do you think you were gonna get? Do you think you deserve a Z maybe because you got a 3.5GPA? If you think this forum is harsh, try making a thread "16 and Supra Turbo for first car" @ supraforums...
Now I also know of another person who got "handed" his car, he's come close to wrecking it a couple times and has gotten a 90 in a 40 speeding ticket, and he's also 16 yrs. old...

 

All I got on my 16th birthday was surprise buttsekz from my uncle.
