I just got my 2005 350z yesterday for my 16th birthday with 12,000 miles on it. If anyone has suggestions on rims/bodykit/etc. that I should purchase for it let me know!

 

All i can say for you is this. Please be mature. Learn all you can and research all you can before you start a thread that has already been talked about just 10 seconds earlier. Nice car though! Congrats.

Also, try doing a search for these common terms and understand why you don't want to follow in their footsteps. 16, young, mom and dad, insurance, what rims/tint/size/.... Again, just be mature about your posting style and you'll be ok!

Okay, where should I do this research? And the reason why I asked is because I am completely new to the 350z's and I was wondering what the average owner adds on first/needs to get.

i got the same color Z, nice choice btw.
i got an 03 with oem 06 LED taillights and 06 18" rims.
i'd start with a sweet aftermarket catback exhaust system and UR underdrive pulley......may be a JWT intake. Enjoy your ride.

damn 16th and a Z...
when i turned 16, the money i got to "buy" a car came to be the built motor that ran on my hatch... that was 4-5 years ago and that car was def faster than my Z. but congratz on being so young and gettin a car like the Z... i wish at that age i would it got somethin like that

You should get 21" chrome rims! mad sick yo, and just get a body kit on ebay, its all there! Oh and get a hood scoop!

There is really no first mods to start out with, you must get the feel of the car and decide what you think needs improvement ex: if you need more power get an intake and plenum or exhaust, if you feel the z doesn't stop good enough get a brake kit, if you want style and all show no go, get a body kit and some rims. It is your car and not ours. Just have fun with it and personalize it how you want it.congrats. To each his own.

You're a lucky guy. Congratulations. Take care of it and it will last a long time. This is a great site to learn a lot about the Z and the options that you have. Investigate and pick up a lot of opinions before you head down a path with mods.

 

how long till we see a "just crashed my Z" post? A Z for a first car at 16 is a disaster waiting to happen, do your parents not love you?

 

Congratulations on the first car. I wish I had something like the Z for my first. Anyways, be careful man. Don't get to confident and brave with your new ride. It can definately get away from you.
