Hey all, I just joined the site a couple days ago. Wanted to say howdy. I've got an '03 Redline Touring. She's bone stock except for the sound system.....those Bose speakers were garbage! The previous owner gave her a little bit of curb rash on the right side so i'll be looking to add some new rims. I'm looking at chrome, something in a 6 or 7 spoke design and keeping it at 18". Anyone have any suggestions for some decent rims in the $800 range? Anyway, great site.

If i were you i would wait and save some more money. $800 might get you some stock rims in better condition, but in my opinion anything aftermarket in the 800 range would be garbage. but congratz

I would take that $800 bucks and buy some '06 18inch stock rims..They look great and it's not as gawdy looking as some aftermarket rims...I remember one guy asking me "where did I get the wheels from?"

He was amazed when I told him they were stock...

+1 i love the 06 stock rims they are better than n e thing you would be able to buy for $800. also i would stay away from chrome doesnt look right on the Z but to each his own. good luck with the car and welcome to the forum. pocket the $800 and save for some 19's down the road

I really like the look of the stocks that came with my car and you guys are right on about the stock 06 rims too.....I hate polishing it and coming across the scrathes on the rim. Also, does anyone know of any light tint overlays I can throw on the tail lights. Nothing dark, just enough to give it a bit of contrast.

Once again +1 on 06 stock rims if that is your price range. They look great and are affordable, as plenty of people ditch them when they get aftermarkets. I also am not a fan of chrome.

Here is one place that sells overlays:

http://www.az350z.com/overlays.php

BTW.. they have 2 different tint depths at az350z.. 17% and 30%. I'm sure there are others out there just do some googling.
