Hey! I am signing the paperwork today on a 2005 Silverstone Base with 16000 miles! WOOOO! I am trading in my 05 Scion TC...it was a nice car for the money, even with it's rattles and shakes...lack of a much needed 6th gear...lack of real hp... Honestly...being a 26yr old professional...it just didn't look right. Great car...BUT. I LOVE the Z and always have.

I almost forgot...I have already purchased my first mod...HA!

6000k HIDs (had to have them)

The car came with a quafe (sp) LSD... Definite bonus!

No signs of feathering...which was what stopped me the last time I almost bought a Z.

Next will be....wheels....I am thinking black....since I am on the darkside now!

It is not the Rev-up, it is just a base, but it has a good LSD. I hope to have my HIDs installed by the end of the week. (6000k Mcculloch's if anyone is curious...had good luck with them in the past)

I drove it around (for fun) 70 miles yesterday...Some of my impressions....

1. OMFG
2. SS is sexy!
3. Where did all these girls come from?
4. This thing has more leg and head room than my Scion.
5. Woah....I need new tires. (stock)
6. This LSD takes some getting used to.
7. People stare...A LOT
8. I don't think I will roll up my windows...the exhaust is like music...
9. Sound system isn't that great, but I can fix that easily enough...roll my windows back down.
10. Local Rednecks give me some serious glares...I may have to defend my baby's honor at some point. No problem...I love to fight.
11. Smooth power curve.
12. Gas mileage is going to be fairly decent...for a sports car.
13. I want black wheels...the darkside is calling
14. People suddenly think I am rich...lol
15. Did I mention the girls????

I think that is a good goal (and obtainable I think) to set for this week...

Yeah black rims are my FAVORITE. I got my HID's installed last night! I may have to do a little adjusting, but I think that they give just enough color and visibility. I LOVE THEM! IMO they look better than the stocker 03-05 HIDs although they lack some of the visibility and of course the cutoff is not as clean...I really want some 06+ ones though.
