Talking im new, yep

hey all, im new obviously to here, happened to stumble uppon this site, juss signed up about 5 min. ago, lol, might as well take the time to introduce myself to my350z.com

my name is rich and i live in southern cali, i am 17 yrs old, and like to play vid games, go out, and well, girls, , yep typical teenager, well im looking to buy a car soon, i've been workin my butt off for about a year and a half now, and im about half way to my goal, so far i was interested in buying a toyota supra '93, but my parents told me that the car is too old to buy and and to expensive(on average, they are about 20,000) so now i had to buy somthing a lil newer, and looky here, a 350z was second on my list.

so now im starting to do research on the 350z bc later on im planning to buy aftermarket parts for it.

so far i like this site, u guys are friendly, and really starting to help out tremendously towards my knowledge of the 350

well i know im juss boring u guys now, thanks for reading and hope to get to know u all

Everyone's going to tell you to buy a used Camry, just a heads-up.

Hello from Virginia, BTW.

Welcome to the forum. Save as much as you can, because just general running expenses are more than your average car.

Not only should you get a carfax but also pay to have a mechanic check it out for you. Yes, you will spend cash to get the vechicle checked out but its peanuts compared to what you would spend if you buy a car with problems.

Also, read the threads on here about young guys who have killed themselves or others with their Zs. Some young guys can handle the power; others cannot. Issue is simple: will your brain control your right foot or the other way around.

That's why I said everyone would tell you to get a Camry. Hearing about that kind of stuff isn't fun for anybody.

I personally wouldn't preach to you about buying one, but I'll also say that at 26, as a business owner with a lot to lose, I still find myself getting a little lead-footed. It's like this car naturally wants to go at least 90 MPH all the time, especially on long trips.

Just be careful, man. I'm seriously.

Dont listen to these people. Buy the Car if your heart is set for it. If you don't get what you want youll end up getting it later on anyway and in the process of getting it more money would have been wasted.

The Z does not take a lot of money to maintain. Its just like a honda as long as you do not heavily mod the car. If you plan on minor aft mkt parts ie intake, exhaust, body kit, then youre only going to be spending as much as you want to spend on it. No major mechanical problems to drain your pockets.
Make sure you get an extended warranty when you purchase a used vehicle.

thanks, i will buy the Z33 first chance i get, so maintaining the car is not that hard? well thats good enough for me, yeah i want one sooo bad, this car is beautiful, powerful, and has a lot of potential, while saving up, i often dream of me driving on the wide open road.....

what is covered in the extended warranty?
