Cool Hello 350Z owners!

Well, I found this site while doing a bit of 350Z research. I've shadowed the site for a bit and learned some pretty cool stuff from all you owners, here. I'm looking forward to finding out some more about this car, and sharing my obsession with everybody.

About me:
I am a 17 year old male. I've been looking at a variety of cars starting at the Cobalt SS Supercharged to the Mazdaspeed3, then to the Mazdaspeed6, and most recently I've been looking at the Charger R/T, and yesterday I made up my mind on the 350Z. Now, for the big fact that breaks everything you might think about me. I'm 6'8" tall, and weigh around 290 lbs. I'm really effin big. I went to the dealership yesterday and sat in a Touring Z with the Tiptronic Trans. I must say, I'm blown away. I can honestly say, I'm comfy in this car. Very nice cockpit and all, oh and the seats absolutely floor me. But the thing that grabbed me firmly by the manhood and won't let go was the initial exhaust note. The salesmen handed me the keys and told me to crank the ignition. I complied. OH MY GOD! When I first heard that whump followed by the low hum, I understood the concept of love. My shifting hand started to invariably twitch, and for a split second I knew I was sitting in THE ONE.

I now plan to get either the Touring or the Enthusiast in black, or the dark silver, (I forgot the names. ) next year or half a year after that when I'm 19 and out of school. Right now, I currently drive a Ford Taurus. All, I can say, Nissan, you did a kick @$$ job with the engineering, and you and I are going to have some good times come soon. Z-ness FTW!

Hope to learn some more about the car, and chat it up with y'all!

LOL! No, I don't encourage or endorse street racing of any kind. If you want racing, go to a track. But, I honestly don't believe the engineering behind the Mustang is that great. It has a 5 spd. manual on the GT! The Cobalt SS Supercharged is a tuned econobox and it has a five speed! That car is around $23,000 by the way. Sad that a car almost twice it's price uses the same, while almost everyone else who makes sports cars mates it to a 6 speed. But the main reason I like the 350Z is for the interior and looks, not so much the engine, although it's nice to have the giddy-up and go on the on-ramp..
