Your options are slim. Drive more "fuel efficient" or get something that is.

well...problem with driving so far for work is wanting to open up the car...if you're looking to save gas, then get a second car....that way, you won't burn so much gas and won't put miles on your vehicle...if I drive that much to and from work, I'd probably have my car in the lower gear quite a bit (aka, high RPM)

100 miles per day x 5 days + 50 miles on weekend = 550 miles per week.
(28600 miles per year)
Z@20mpg = 27.5 gallons x $3 per gallon = $82.50 per week
Prius@55mpg = 10 gallons x $2.50 per gallon = $25.00
Random Car@33mpg = 16 2/3 gallons = $41.67
So, basically you are paying $60 a week for the fun of the Z. I am going to assume that the depreciation on the Z and the Prius are about the same. Not a great assumption, but given the unproven maintainence costs of the Hybrid drivetrain and batteries, not necessarily a bad assumption.
$60 a week is about $3120 a year. That should be compared against a risk-free rate of return (even if you would blow it on mods). Say, 5% takes us to $3300. This, plus the extra amount you paid is less than the amount of fun you get out of your Z. So, moving on...
Compared to the random 33mpg car, your Z is costing you about $40 a week, which is $2080 a year. If you want to buy a car for less than $2080 a year, and drive it _instead_ of your Z for 28000 miles. Then do it, remembering that your profit is the difference between what you spend and $2080.
Moving closer to where you work, would also save you this amount. Plus, since you clearly spend about 3 hours per day driving, you would get all that valuable time back. How bad are Real Estate prices in Scottsdale? $300 per month, plus time savings?
I think a good number to compare against is the cost savings per mile. 11 cents for the prius 7 cents for some other car.
