From KDM to JDM
I used to drive a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT, but I've upgraded to a 2003 PPW 350Z
I work at a Dodge dealership as a tech, and we had just recieved the Z from a wholesaler a couple days ago. Luckily, I got the job of doing the inspection on it. So I took it on the test drive and fell in love with it and decided to see how much they wanted for it.
I got the car for $20,200. It only has 28k miles on it, only has 2 small chips in the paint. The Z is only the base model unfortunately, so no lsd, hids, navi etc. No biggie though, I'll probably end up buying that stuff later on. It's bone stock, except for a K&N filter. I'll probably drive it stock for a little while, I got some credit cards I need to pay off. Don't tell me to turbo it, I don't make that much money yet lol All I want for it right now are some Work Meister S1's, HKS Hi Power Ti exhaust, and the Nismo S-Tune suspension.
I love the suspension on it, very stiff, yet not harsh. Car is very easy to drive, although I'm still trying to figure out how to shift smoothly from 1st to 2nd. For a stock exhaust, it sounds pretty nice. As for the looks, I got lots of stares with my Tib, but now I get a lot more, I'm not sure if it's because of the car or the fact that everyone thinks that I'm a 16 year old driving it (I'm 21, and like most other filipinos, I look a lot younger than I am.)
On to the pics:
That's all I got for now, but I don't think you guys would want to see pics of a stock Z, so I probably won't post anymore until I get a few mods on it. My first car was an 84 300ZX, it feels good to be back with the Nissan family.
Here's a couple older pics of the Tib. It had an Injen cai, Hotshot headers, Ark single Ti exhaust, B&M short shifter, Ark strut bars, Tein S-Tech springs, Apex'i AFC Neo, 18X8 Motegi DP-10's. It also had KDM Tuscani emblems, and Compact Division's carbon fiber eyelines, but I don't have any good pics of those.

One is a sports car while the other is a not. Doesn't mean the KDM is bad. I just think you can't compare the two.

It just seems like when someone says "i'd take a 350z over a Tiburon" Of course! But the phrase makes the Tibby seem like a terrible car rather then, a car that isn't terrible but in a different league.
