hey guys, just wanted to say hey. i just traded my 02 Maxima SE 6spd in yesterday and bought a 2007 Black Z with the Enthusiast package. a test drive is all it took for me to decide on it. funny thing is we originally went to the dealer because the wife wanted to look at a Xterra, i left in the Z, she left with nothing, lol.

here are some pics, sorry they suck, had to use the crappy camera but its not like you guys have never seen a black Z before.









as you can see i took the Nismo oil and rad caps off my Maxima and put them on the Z. other than that, bone stock. looking into an intake setup, exhaust and some tint. otherwise, i think Nissan did a great job with the car already.

edit - here is a pic of my Max.......i am gonna miss it to be honest, space was nice to have, but oh well, hope she finds a good home.

That Max looks like its in good shape... are you selling it?

 

traded it in on my Z. although you're right, it was in great shape.......minus the whole paint chips all over the front thing. Nissan and their cheap *** paint.......i hope it got better in 07.

Well I hope they gave you a good trade-in price Jim......
As for the paint, I dont know.... used to drive an 03' G35 but now drive a Land Rover (circa 1970-80) paint on those things dont matter!

i think the paint was different since the Max is built in Japan and the Z/G are built here. not sure though, either way, i had so many chips on the front of that car that i was going to get it resprayed. just bought a new car instead, lol.

you mean my parking lot? yeah, i know.......its the Army's fault though, i hate it....kicks up dust like a **** and i am just waiting for the first a-hole to kick rocks up at my car.

luckily i am moving out this weekend, so no worries. something inside me cringes when i hear the rocks kicking up into the wheel wells and ding around.

Unless there was a change in 2007, all Zs are built in Japan. I'd heard earlier complaints about the paint, but my '06 has 23,000 miles on it and I don't have any complaint about the paint. Congratulations! Now what is your wife going to drive?

 

Welcome to the club, I just purchased a Black 07 Enthusiast myself about 4 weeks ago

I've yet to post pics but its a great car, love it everyday...

BTW, how did you get your plates so fast? It takes about 6-8 weeks here in CA to get your plates on a new car.

it was as new as they come, drove it off the lot with 12 miles on the clock.

the dealers have premade tags and they call the dmv and register the car to the plate......thats my guess anyways.
