how about G35 coupe?? does it have a back seat? can u preorder G35 coupe? what's the difference on G35 coupe and 350Z??

thanks!
If you want a back seat, then the Z is not for you. If you want a sports car, and not a car that is sporty, then the back seat is irrelevant and the Z is a great choice. (For us, the only choice)

The G35 coupe is a very nice car. Built on the same structure as the Z, it is the luxury model of the Z.

275+ hp in the g35c, 287hp in the Z. The 275hp might be the final number for the coupe though. The difference in supensions is unknown as of yet, but I would bet they'll be similar with the coupe being somewhat softer. There are plenty of threads about Z reviews on this sight if you want a professional opinion on the car. About pre-ordering the coupe, there's nothing official like nissan did with the Z, but I bet there are waiting lists at infiniti dealerships already. Pricing will be similar to the Z, maybe a little more expensive. I've been in a g35 sedan, (didn't get to drive though ) and it's an awesome car, the ride made waiting for my car much harder.
I like bmws, but I would buy either of these cars before anything bmw offers. That's my biased opinion and I'm stickin to it.

Hope I helped you in some way with the Z/G comparison.

So far road and track and motor trend have run comparisons on the G35 sedan (only available with an automatic transmission) and both times the G35 has won. The cars it beat include the 330i that cost nearly $7K more than the G. Other cars it beat are the A4 3.0 quatro, Jag X-type, cadillac CTS, acura 3.2 type S, lexus IS 300, lincoln LS, MB C320($45K), saab 9-5 aero ($40K), volvo S60 T5. I think every car they throw at the G35 is more expencive, but all have less HP. I think it even outguns some V-8's like the lincoln LS.

The G35 coupe will be available with a manual transmission, and have more HP than the G35 sedan, but a little less than the 350Z. So it should kick but. Price wise it may be close to the 325i, but it has about 80 more hp at about the same weight. If you want a back seat go for the G35 coupe, if you want the looks and even more performance ( one second slower than a corvette, treat yourself to the 350Z).

good luck, keep us posted. Go drive a G35 sedan they are on the lots right now but only come with automatics, but will eventually come with a manual.
