My new 2007 350Z after detail, 56k warning!
Just wanted to introudce myself - I cross shopped M3's, Porsche 993 and 996 and many other sports cars...but $ for $, the Z blew away the other options, so I was left with no choice but to purchase a new 2007 Z
I've neen on the board since I bought my Z about 3 weeks back, but haven't had a chance to properly detail and photograph it. I finally did, so here she is.
If any German manufacturer built this exact same car (looks performance, build quality), it would be an $80k car. This Z is so under-estimated by the general public, it's simply surprising you don't see more of them. So far, I'm really impressed by the performance, quality and appearance. It's simply too fun to drive, sounds incredible and turns heads everywhere I go.
This is after 7 hours of detailing (I had it delivered with the plastic-wrap still in place...I detail my cars, no one else).

Thanks
I tried to shoot these photos with a good backdrop. This is the best I came up with close to home. If I can keep her clean for another day, I'd like to take some photos atop my parking structure at work. Excellent modern buildings/great backdrop for the smooth lines of the Z.

4 weeks after purchasing the car, I threw these RAYS wheels on the car.
I'm in heaven.
Next up: Rear stock wing, Brembos and track time at Thunderhill in July, Willow Springs in August and Laguna Seca in September, woohoo!

I know - I really stink at taking a good photo. Once in a while I get a good one, but usually it's like this. I get the car in the picture, sure, but I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. Point and shoot camera anyhow, maybe I can't expect much from an SD550?...any tips are appreciated though
