Well that is why I joined the boards... It is a 2004 with 47k miles... This being my first Z I noticed that there is a "FairladyZ" emblem on the rear of the car and 350 is not showing anywhere on it. My initial question is 'Is there a didget or anything that appears in the VIN that would identify that it is a FairladyZ?'

I want to get some shots of the car as soon as I can but it has been raining in the evenings since I got it.

i'm pretty sure FairladyZ is what the Z cars have been refured to in Japan for awhile, i could be wrong. To answer your question though, there is no difference if your badge says fairlady or 350z, same car.

Congrats and welcome to the site. Lots of info here, but sometimes it takes some practice with the search button to know how to filter things out to find what you need faster. To add photos to a post, push the "go advanced" button in the display and you should be able to figure out how to attach. There are limits on the size, so you might have to reduce the photo to meet those limits. Good luck.
