The babies are grown and gone and I'm happy to say a Z is back in my life! I just bought a 2005 Touring Roadster in Daytona Blue with light gray leather interior and I love it! The thrill of real driving (6 speed) is a wonderful feeling.....
Nice to find this forum........looking forward to lots of good advice and info.
Hopefully I'm not the oldest person on this forum....

hey Tom! Welcome to the forums! What part of indiana are you from?
yeah, i've been thru/near logansport a few times...my uncle lives in Peru and used to live in Kokomo....which are both right down that way if i remember correctly.
Anyways...long shot here...but you don't happen to know a guy named Tim Newell do you?

haha...not sure I can swing that one...I work with him...but he might think it's kinda weird if i walk up and snap a pic of him
He's balding...and just retired from the National Guard...oh well...just thought i'd check. Congrats again on the car!! If you are interested...sometimes I go down to Indy for work...and some of us guys will usually get together for a beer and to talk Z's for the evening...you are welcome to join us on the next venture if you want.
Do a search on INDY CAR OWNERS or something like that...that's the thread we always set stuff up in!
Austin
Hey Austin, thanks for the invite! Just let me know and I'll try and get there.
I love to talk about the Z, unfortunetly most people around here have no idea what I have!
Drive safe............

Your never to old, right Evets? I've always felt my brain was stuck on 25 anyway.......
On a different note, I need some advice on wether or not to do a "ClearBra" treatment to the front end. Anyone guide me to some good info? Did a search and got some info but would appreciate any further help. I HATE ROCK CHIPS!

do a search for clearbra...a GRIP of threads will come up. take some time to look through them. in general, those who have gotten it obviously benefit from the protection, but it's also a little difficult to keep clean along the edges, and it might yellow over time, which would show up on certain colors moreso than others.
peru, and kokomo, are towns in indiana? how strange, i love it!
also, welcome
you're nowhere near the oldest member here

Welcome Tom!! Unfortunately for me I'm where you were several years ago when responsibilities caught up to all the fun. I just sold my 03 Performance Z and I must say I miss it. Hopefully my second chance will come around in a few years like yours. Enjoy your Z!!
Welcome! I'm new to this forum and I just hit 38. Just got married 2 weeks ago and bought my 2nd Z. The first was an 88 300zx Turbo, Ricaro Edition in pearl white. I lost her in 2000 but FINALLY...just this week I just got a 2003 350Z SB Touring with lots and lots of goodies too. Nice to see some older gents on this forum.
I just hit the big five zero myself.....The nice thing about this age is that you can afford toys like Z's. The kids are gone, no more college payments, and "disposal" cash is readily available.
Maybe the 50+ age group of 350Z owners should start their own forum and show these young guys how to put together some real Z's.......
