31 years later a new Z is mine!
I was 25 years old in 1976 when I purchased my copper colored 280Z 2 + 2. It was a sad day when I sold it due to a new baby and responsibilities....
The babies are grown and gone and I'm happy to say a Z is back in my life! I just bought a 2005 Touring Roadster in Daytona Blue with light gray leather interior and I love it! The thrill of real driving (6 speed) is a wonderful feeling.....
Nice to find this forum........looking forward to lots of good advice and info.
Hopefully I'm not the oldest person on this forum....

Hey Tom, I'm about the same age as you too! And I don't look my age, either.
Also started to like Z's way back in my mid-20's. Never owned one then but a roommate's boyfriend did; he so loved that car that it got me started buying Nissans. Took me a while to work around to the Z, though. I've had mine for a little over a year now.
Anyway, welcome. We oldies have to balance out the forums here!!

I can tell your a great group .......... one of my favorite sayings is........."If you didn't know how old you were, how old would you be?"
The Z exemplifies this thought..........

This thing doesn't shift quite the same as my old '67 Mustang with a four speed Hurst but I'm getting used to it.....very used to it!
I wonder if you can "speed shift" one of these?
