Question NMAC Online Payment Set Up help....

ok so i bought my car in early august. financed through nissan. they said my first payment would be due on sept 15th. so im thinking, ok no big deal.

well...i JUST NOW got the information from the dealership on how and where to make my payments. i got the acct number and everything and now im wagering my options. since im in afghanistan i figure the best way to pay will be to set up an automatic withdrawl from my checking acct but i cant do that til next month. so that makes me stuck on how to make this months payment. so i go to the NMAC Finance website to make a payment. and i click on register...

put in all my info...ssn, acct num, pw, everything...

ACCT NOT FOUND...or.....ACCT DOES NOT MATCH SSN

so then i call them to see WTF?? i enter my ssn in the phone and TADA!! acct number blah blah coincides with this ssn...your balance is yada yada...so ok it works...but not online??? why the hell not???

im thinking since last weekend was labor day and they are more then likely lazy and havent entered in the info yet or something??? i have no clue tho...anyone else have this issue ??? any help or incite would be great...because i need to make my first payment within like 10 days from now and seeing as how im overseas this is the only way...what to do??? help!!!!

works for me...

instead of having them withdraw from my checking acct, i set-up online payment and use my bank to automatically pay them every month.

makes it easy.

setting it up tkaes 2 minutes and payment is usually processed in 2-3 business days

Lenders are sometimes slow to get things going, but don't let that payment be too late. You will make it or break it in this world on credit scores now.
Good luck with the new car, but sounds like you won't be able to drive it much for awhile. Welcome to the forum.

If I recall your 1st payment from NMAC must be sent to your finance address. In that kit you will have an auto pay option. Not a real help for you now.

Ask your dealers FI Mgr to call it in, the dealer can get this handled for you.
