Hey guys, new owner of an awesome 07 SMB base Z. Name's Pete btw I've made quite a few topics already on this forum but none about myself. Well, I've had this car for almost a week now and it is a thrill to drive, although a lot of times I was VERY tempted to step on it a little harder, but I had to tell myself to let her go easy for the first thousand miles.

I just picked up my SMB Touring tonight. 10/24.

Awesome. I got my 07 Touring 6mt SMB Monday and like you, have been so tempted to wind it out...but I am waiting until after break-in.

As an aside, have any of you seen a SMB with clearbra? I have been reading up on it, but I can't find a single pic of this color with the clearbra.

 

I just had mine done today by certified tech from Scottsguard.
When I get some time I will post pictures. Came out great!
The line accross the hood is not so noticeable 3-4 feet away.
Bumper, mirrors & headlights can't tell @ all. Well worth the $650.00 install.
Man this guy came to my house & took over 6 hours. He sure earned his $!

07' SMB Touring owners, if you dont mind me asking what was your price for the vehicle, did they give you a discount?

I am looking for one, and found a 2007 SMB Touring 6pd not far from me, the price is 36,260.

That price is almost $6000 more than I paid for mine on Monday.

I found my car last week in PA @ dealer "Admore" or something like it?
If yes I had it flatbedded Tuesday to my dealer in NY & I picked it up Wed. night.
Car is loaded with Nav & all. Had only 25 miles on it.

I got it for $600 over invoice + $400 to ship to my dealer.
But I got $1500 rebate which ends on 10/31.
So in the end I really bought the car for $500 under invoice!

Already had clearbra installed & Sirius next week. Man I love this car!

I got the base for $26500 OTD.
It was the best deal I got, other dealers were giving me $27300 OTD.

congrats. i just got a 07 SMB 6spd too. i love it. only got about 200 more miles before break in is done.

 

Everywhere I go on these threads I see talk about break in.
I asked my dealer & they said not with a 350Z. There is known?
He said to drive it like I stole it
I'm still gonna take it easy until little over 1000 miles.
