Hello everyone, after waiting so patiently I am finally a 350z owner. Its a 03 daytona blue touring ed. I love this car. After reading about this car for the last 4 years I'm scratching my head wondering what some of those auto journalist are talking about.
I mean the interior isn't up to audi specs, but the seats are comfortable and the leather is soft. I also don't find the ride or interior noise harsh and annoying. but anyways The the only mods i'm gonna do are wheels and maybe an intake.
I'll post some picks as soon as I have more time.
later guys.

Same here...
then again I got an 07 which may have revamped interior??
But coming from a Dodge NEON SRT-4 everything about this car is Upgraded. I love the interior, the seats the styling and the ride quality/noise is NO problem whatsoever. Try riding in my SRT-4 with motor mounts, traction bars, a 3" Open exhaust from the turbo-back and tell me the ride quality/sound isnt too bad...

yeah I still havent picked up my Z but coming from a 92' 240sx I'm pretty sure the noice level will be very quiet compared to my old ride.
Pretty much everything will blow my mind about the Z I cant wait till Feb. or so.
Congrats on your purchase

Thanks guys, I'm coming from a mits eclipse that I had lowered on 2 in gold line springs so in comparison to that. the z rides like a cadillac. Another thing about the z that surprised me was the storage space.
I had no idea there were so many different little compartments in the car, heck I almost streamed like a little school girl when I saw the car had cup holders
. for some reason i thought the car didn't come with any . I also don't find the trunk space to be that bad, last night i was able to fit 5 grocery bags with no trouble.

I test drove everything from S2ks, Rx-8s, Boxsters, 325s, Mustangs, Vettes, Audi TTs and Solotices and MX5. What I founded was that the 350Z is a nice compromise of overall performance, sex appeal and thrill, it is a Car with no pretense unlike the RX-8, TTs, Solotices, Mustang, or 325 its not a in between car its a Sports Car.
Its every bit of a Sports Car as is the $40k Boxster its even out performs the plain Boxster, but not quite the vehicle the Boxster S is of course its $15-$18k cheaper.
My final conclusion its sits in the middle half way point between the Supercar-Fast Vette and the agile Boxster/Audi TT. Like the Honda S2K it is what it is a Sports car and nothing else. I'm a Z-Car fan from way back having owned every version except the 240z & 260z. The 350Z was built to capture the spirit of the 240Z which was a reasonably priced real SPORTS CAR.
The 350Z doesn't ride as smooth as the infiniti because its a two seat sports car built to go fast, handle and look cool, almost like a custom version of the 911 targa Sports Car. The 350Z is a drivers car.

I totally agree with you, the z is an affordable sports coupe that offers plenty of style and performance at a good price.
I test drove a lot of used sport coupes that were in my price range, rx-8, gto, s2k but none of those cars give me an emotional feeling like the z.
I'm not gonna lie I really want an e46 m3 and i will get one but at this point in my life I can't afford to maintain one. My z will provide plenty of driver satisfaction until i decide to upgrade.
