Thanks once again all I've just removed the plate for now, the holder isn't very obtrusive, so I can live with it until I figure out what to do with the holes. Honda sold painted bumper plugs when I had my Prelude, which was fine with me, but I can't seem to find a Nissan equivalent.

+1 on the bumper plugs, i used them on my interlagos Z for a while till i got the holes filled.

Also get a Zee Bracket for the front tag, works great and looks better than hanging a tag from the front bumper (if your state requires one that is)
