Default 08 San Marino Blue Enthusiast!

After months and months of waiting to order, and months and months of waiting for delivery, she's finally here
I ordered on Oct 10th and took delivery yesterday, and I've been driving ever since. I've already put 350 miles on her

I'll get some better pics up when it stops raining.

Congrats and best of luck. Now, go out and get a decent cat back exhaust so your Z will sound as good as it looks. I went with a Nismo but I hear good things about Stillen. Very satisfied with the Nismo, nice throaty sound going through the gears but quiet while cruising and no drone. I have an 08 Touring.

If you ordered your 08 in october why didnt you just get an 07? I'm sure that the 07's were priced a bit cheaper because the dealers always want to move there inventory out to make space for the 08 models. You probably would have gotten a better deal for the same car with zero miles or am I missing something? But never the less congrats the car looks great.

+1 I love my Nismo. I could have gotten a Stillen exhaust but the Nismo sounds so much better.

because sometimes its just better to order it the way you want it so you dont regret it later down the line. My 06 I bought was not the Z I wanted from the beginin but I did get a great deal out of it. However after 11months the car was traded in for an 07 the way I wanted.

I think I understand what your saying. When I bought my 07 in July there was hardly any PPW 6spd touring. For some reason there are more automatics then 6spds. I walked into the dealership and told them what I wanted and the located it in a nissan dealership 50miles away. So I bought it and got the car the next day in the afternoon.

Thank you all for your kind words

I don't have huge mod plans for the car right now, but I'm thinking I'll go with exhaust, test pipes, and a carputer for all my entertainment and nav needs. The nismo wasn't really on my list, but I guess it is now! For now, though, I'm actually LOVING the stock exhaust note.

BADASSTT, the reason I ordered an 08 is because there were no cars on the east coast that matched what I wanted -- a SMB Enthusiast 6mt. I believe there was one in New York but it had been test driven to hell and back from what I heard. I actually got this one for $1000 under invoice because of some special December sale, so I'm really quite happy with how it's turned out!

Unfortunately, I've already had a run-in with a deer! I was accelerating on an onramp and bambie came out of nowhere... luckily I was able to avoid a head-on, but he did ding my door just slightly. Sucks that I hadn't even had the car for 24 hours, but that's life, right?

I have same color on my 07 touring. with the light gray leather seats and light gray dash. I love it, just tinted windows and ordered intakes and exhaust.

Damm that sucks Is it bad maybe you could have it repaired by paintless dent removal.

I too have bought a 2008 SMB 350z. I had a very hard time finding it and ended up traveling 1000 miles to get it. Great road trip though. I am looking at putting in dual cold air intake now from nismo.

Thanks all!

I certainly plan to have a PDR guy pop it out, but again, it's barely noticable.

Here are a few pics I snapped today. Excuse the poor photography, I was in a hurry =P

Very sharp!
My suggestion for your first "mod" is to get rid of the dealer installed plastic license plate frame. Get a nice one out of Courtesy Nissan or Motorsport Auto.
Enjoy!

or remove the front plate/holder all together and get those holes filled...and add a veilside v1 lip kit, sides, rear, etc.
