Hi all.
i bought a 2003 350z touring silver/frost 6spd a week ago.
bought it from cerritos nissan So.Cal as a certified vehicle.
paint, exterior and interior is flawless and comletely stock.
currently at 42000 miles. all new tires.

After some surfing around this forum, i'm getting the 6spd transmission replaced and rear axle fix under warranty.

wanted to get the new Z but had to buy my wife a new car.08 VW jetta.

Me and my wife is very pleased with this two new toys and especially the Z.

compare to my old 2000 celica GT, this Z does drink some gas.
celi was getting 33mpg on mixed driving even after 160K miles.
but this Z seems to get 25mpg on mixed driving.

hoping to keep this baby for long time and seems like i joined the right forum
to know all about the Z.

hope you all have happy new year!

oh btw, i paid $19k for this car from nissan dealer.
did i do good? considering it's nissan certified?
and anything i should check/aware for MY03?

Congrats on the new purchase, yeah i paid 19k for my touring also. You have picked the best community out there for the 350z. I to also came from a 2000 celica gts. I do miss the gas mileage but I love the z. That's why this is my second one. Welcome to the community.

19k i think is a pretty good price. But since i first bought my first car (01civicEx) i said to myself that i would never buy from the dealership again, about 99% of car sales people are a bunch of cun artists LOL but that's just my .02.

I bought an 05 Ultra Yellow Touring w/ 17,800miles for $19,400 and it had these installed in the car already.

Viper 971XV alarm
Kenwood DVD/GPS/CD/MP3
Sirius Radio service til 2010
Tinted windows
Car Cover
OEM Spoiler
Chin Spoiler
Ipod Interface
Homelink rear view mirror
and the OEM CD/AM/FM

Hey man how do you like the car? i can't wait to drive my Z hehehe i'm like a friggin' lil kid on christmas morning

3rd gear grind.
i read a tsb on transmission grind.
yes it's under certified power train warranty so i get free transmission.
it's part number ending with 009 which is the latest one.
read it somewhere here that it's little bit smoother.
