Default 08 track...lovin it

So it finally arrived!

2008 350z track model coupe. Black inside and out. After being quoted up to 3 months from Nissan for delivery, they found one already on the sea on its way that met what I had ordered (3rd Dec) and I picked her up 16th Jan.

I joined my350z.com as a part of my research on the car a few months ago, I知 only 21(as of boxing day) but I致e just finished 2 degrees at university so I知 calling it a graduation present and a 21st present to myself, from myself. Going from a 1.6L N15 Nissan Pulsar, to the Z is an incredible change, and so far, even though I知 on break-in I知 loving the low-end power that feels like it痴 just sitting on tap waiting to be used.

All in all, very happy new owner so far, I知 impressed

Default the track has...

Australia only has "Touring" and "Track in coupe or roadster. The track has all the touring features plus VDC, an aerodynamic underbody bodykit (or something like that) and the brembo breaks. Cruise is standard on both models. I guess it's not as hard to decide between models when there are only 2 as opposed to the 3-5 you have in the States. www.nissan.com.au for the features.

It sounds like the Track model there is close to the Grand Touring model here, only w/o nav system. Touring here has VDC too, but only in 6-speed coupes.

The touring here doesnt get VDC only TCS, we can't get sat nav because of something along the lines of.... 'the device used in production in Japan is unable to properly function/match up in Australia' either way I know how to read a map so I don't loose sleep over it.

Also, that little mini-spoiler/wing thing on the back is standard on track models now too according to my dealer, I quizzed him when I picked the car up because I didn't order it

Hey jerry,

What side of town are you on? I was driving our new 07 (San Marino Blue) on the south side (on Mains Rd I think) and had a black 07 driving behind me. Was that you?

Nice car! Congradulations!

You picked up yours the same day I did. Of course I picked up mine on January 16, 2003.

A Black beauty classic Sports Car color, the only thing that can compare maybe just maybe is a Redline 350Z or ZR. Any of the grays are ok too, but its too many of them.

Your Black 08, who wouldn't just LOVE that!! Niceeeee!!

hi jerry, welcome and congrats.
I also own a diamond black track. It's done 6000kms already, i cant help but want to drive it everyday You will know what i mean hahaha

The Aust model also comes with Leather seats as standard on all models, browsing the pics on here i see some interiors that are cloth on the US models?
The shitty thing is that the car came with a tape deck, needless to say that was the first thing i got rid of.

Haha yeh mate, I was on 800kms after 7 days, and basically the 2000kms break in after 15 days As for the tapedeck.... how Fred Flinstone is that?!?!?! The only thing that's hit me hard since the pulsar was the money I'm blowing on petrol
