I just bought my first Z. 04 with 25,000 miles Sunburst orange with the orange leather..My first question.....Is it better to follow the mileage or the months for the service. Ex...should I get a 26,000 mile service or a 48 month service?

 

I'd go with the miles. It depends on how much worrying bothers you. Time takes a toll on seals, but I don't know what else would be affected. Maybe others have some ideas.

Personally if it was me buying a pre-loved car, I'd put it for a service irrespective. As to service periods, it really depends how much you're intending to drive your new Z. For instance you might only do 10miles in the next 3 years or you might do 20miles in one year. The owners manual does elude to this.
