I think they are trying to move these cars.. I got a Touring Roadster with 5AT and all the carpet etc options, it was less than invoice. What I normally do is go to CarsDirect.com and build the car that you want. The pricing is extremely good and just take that price in with you. These guys know that if you order it on that website, it comes out of their inventory, you pick it up at their dealership, and they get nadda for the transaction. They will give it to you for that price.. trust me.
PS - Invoice on the 08 Enthusiast with all the normal options is $28,455.

Not likely 28 out the door... remember there is that 700 dollar or so fee they won't let their mothers out of, and all the tax etc. If you said 28 plus all the crap, your still looking at 29K+ out the door. Now, you bring a check for 28 grand in on the right day, they may just do it. If your trading, it could save you some money on the tax difference, but you will most certainly get raped on the money they give you for it. I traded my 07 335i in for my car. It basically came out so I owed a few K dollars... doesn't seem right, does it.
Good luck. Remember that if it starts to feel icky, walk away. They are not in love with the same car you are, and emotions cost a lot of money for me over the years.

I bought mine through the Costco auto program.
I paid 28,400... That's $100 over invoice. Out the door with taxes and all that jazz was like 31k. You won't get any lower than that unless they are pricing below invoice. MSRP on the enthusiast is like 32k alone so I thought the deal through costco was awesome.

Have you looked at an '07? Virtually the same car and dealer's want them off their lot's.
BTW, Daytona Blue is no longer available. 2006 was the last year. DB was replaced by San Marino Blue.

oh ok.... thnx for the heads up on the color... ill chek it out to see if they have any 07s on the lot... i spoke to them on the phone today and they said tht they had 08 for $28484 in any color i wanted... so i really didnt look into asking for an 07 since the price on the 08s are a few thousand more then an 05-06($24-$26000) ...

I thought they didn't discontinue Daytona Blue until '08. Someone who shopped for the '07s will surely know. Nissanhelp.com says that DB was available in '07.
There is a difference between the '07 and '08s. The '08s have "lock" engraved upon the little lever in the inside door handle that locks the doors.
