Default new owner in Tulsa, OK

Hey everybody, been checking out the forum for a while and figured I'd pop in about my new Z. I picked up an 03 Touring in Lemans Sunset about a month ago and I absolutely love it. Traded in an 05 Hyundai Sonata and haven't looked back since. The car is super fast, turns on a dime, and gets looks from everyone drivin down the road. I'm tryin to figure out what I want to do with it, but I already installed an AVIC-D3 head unit. Anyway, I've got some pictures floatin around that I'll get uploaded, but just wanted to drop in and say I joined the club

Welcome greenie. Lots of info here and ideas about what you may want to do to your Z, if anything except drive it relentlessly.

Welcome Greenie, congratZ on the LMS. Take care out there, a 350 turning on a top of a dime isn't something I'd describe. Look after that Z.

I've definitely been driving the hell out of it. Two days after I took delivery I drove down to DFW to visit family/show off, and every day I take the longest route possible to get to and from work. It's just so much fun to drive, even when you're not really pushing it too hard.

.....and I'm absolutely taking care of it. I had a business trip to OKC yesterday and the guys at the store where I parked my car told me someone swung their door into it and even went so far as to put some tape on the side and take a pic so it looked like a nasty paint chip. They definitely got me, I was in a terrible mood the whole drive back, haha.

CongratZ on your purchase!! Check out www.okzcc.com , your local Z club. They are scheduled to host Midwest Z Fest around Labor day in Tulsa.

Aaaw, unfortunately that's daily drivering your Z for you. Unfortunately that befalls most of our Z's at one time or another. You'll get used to finding end car parks and parking away from other cars.

I'm actually already a member, got that paperwork put through the day I picked up my Z. I'm pretty stoked about Midwest Z Fest, the location in Tulsa is probably 200-300 yards away from where I live, so I'll definitely be helpin out as I can. It's a great spot to line up a bunch of beautiful Zs!

As far as door dings and whatnot, I really hate being "that guy" but I've started parking pretty far back and straddling two spots to give people plenty of room. I always hated it when other people did it, but I totally understand now.
