do not push it during the break in period
do wash it every week
do put premium fuel in it
do stare at it out of your front window

edit: do allow the mod bug to consume you

What part of VA? If you are in Richmond a bunch of us are meeting up tonight, it'd be a good time to come out and meet the locals!

Welcome to the forum. Read the owner's manual which for some reason is avoided by a large percentage of new owner's. I guarantee you'll find 3-5 things out about the car that will be pleasant surprises.

Thanks for the pic and it sounds like you will be enjoying the regional forum too. Congrats on the awesome B-day present.

How long exactly is the break in period? I guess you go for miles, not time, i.e. 500 miles, 1000 or ??? I have not exactly "washed it" yet, but I do wipe it down everytime it comes home. Oh, and I do stare at it a lot. :-) I'm getting a lot more exercise now also because I now park waaaay back in any parking lot, as far away from people and other cars as I can get. I know the first "ding" is going to hurt, but I'm trying to put it off for as long as possible!

P.S. And even with gas prices going higher every day, I DO put premium in it. Spouse thinks it's stupid - see, I TOLD you he isn't a car guy!

You're right - and I actually changed the time on the clock on both the navigation system AND the radio last week! Big accomplishment - but guess I'll keep reading.....:-)

Looking for locals - although I guess that is a relative term. I don't see a lot of Z's around Springfield and truly, I don't think I've even seen a Carbon Silver! Guess we're special! ;-)
