Default I did a direct trade (pics) :)

Well, it was pretty close to a direct trade. I had an '05 lemans sunset 350Z touring roadster. This weekend I traded it for the same exact car, but as a coupe. I made the mistake of settling for a roadster while knowing deep down that the coupe looked better to me. I know, I'm an impulse buyer.

Anyway, my buddy and I took a ride up to a scenic hill and snapped a few pics. He has an '04 S2000. They are not professional pics and I wish the weather was better. Anyway, enjoy.

Both sexy whips, but I'd take the lemans anytime of the day over the trq. less s2k.

Lucky you dude... thats cool. I got a Roadster but thats what I wanted and I love it! I agree the coupe looks better though... But the Roadster isn't bad when the top is down.

You notice any difference in speed/accleration/handling? Everyone says their the same and the last time I drove a Z coupe was a year ago, honestly the Roadster felt about the same...

The engine sounds slightly different. There's also a K&N thrown into the mix though. Handling-wise, acceleration, I don't notice a difference. Even though I lost value on the trade, I finally have the car I want.

Congrats... I just bought my roadster and love it, but there is no doubt that the coupes look better. The feeling of losing money is something that fades in a few weeks or months, but driving a car every day that isn't what you really wanted is something that doesn't go away till you fix it. I was in that position before the Z.

The one thing about roadsters that make me jealous is the fact that they can lower the top and listen to their exhaust whenever they want.

Other than that, I agree that the coupe looks better.

I'm thinking about going the other way trading my 05 Coupe for a 05 Roadster.

My ex-wifes son saw my car and had to have one took him almost a year he just purchased a 04 Black Coupe with 36k miles on it from a person with some mods for $18k but after financaing through the Bank the total note was $21k.

Now she thinking about buying either a Miata or 350Z I let her drive mines to see the power difference. I want to be a little different my dd is a 2000 Q45 so a Roadster or Coupe on the weekends or when its pretty would be used the same. And top down the Roadster awesome.

Anyway you both have sharp looking sports cars, your paint job looks like a brand new car. I like both vehicle but I'm a Z-car fan from way back.

Damn thats a nice looking Z, the Honda 2k is good looking too.

I agree. The Z looks like the paint is new. How many miles on your new puppy? Great pics. Thanks.

Does your friend feel the same way about his roadster?

Good choice, but does your coupe have higher miles? Otherwise, its value should've been lower (you would have gotten car+cash).
