Default New Here not a new Z owner. long read..

First off i'd like to say what's up guys. New to this site but not Nico. I just got my Z about 4-5 months ago. I purchased a 2004 Black base model with 25,000 miles 6spd. for well under 20K.. A deal IMO, maybe not so know that 2008 has come but I'm happy nonetheless. I first went out to buy the Z after i banged up my Acura TL which i was in love with but had to say bye bye.. I'm also not new to Nissans having owned a 89 240SX white Hatchback and 1994 white Maxima both which had loud chimney pipes for exhausts which at the time were accepted (1997-1999). So i set out to buy a day after a little mishap and was looking for a WRX an EVO or specifically a Black on Black MT Z which i was able to find after two days and god knows how many lots and alot of crazy prices. At first coming from a Acura i thought the power was outrageous only to see my boy pull on me day after day in a 87RX7 with a port and polished motor but with a stock turbo which was and is blown. So i set out for more power.. well first and foremost i joined the forums later than sooner and found myself purchasing a Fancy manifold for half price.. A kinetix SSV for $500. I then went out an bought a JWT pop charger.. Next was an exhaust. After extensive youtube video's and BS ing with people i finally settled on a Tanabe Super Hyper cat back exhaust. Oh and I sprung for some Xenons and performance break pads.. For a total of $2000 (give or take $100 or 2 for labor)with everything installed..

I recently went to MRC Cars for Dyno Day in NJ (very cool guys) to see what the dyno said.

First pull 234.8
second pull 262.6..................

I understand that many people will not believe the numbers so if anyone was at MRC this past sunday for Dyno day i was the guy with the Black stock looking Z with the shiny kinetix do-hickie...

I'll be heading back to MRC in the coming weeks to have them install and tune a UTEC setup and throw in some high flow Berk cats and Tanabe y-pipe.

side note: MRC was cool as hell and was willing to answer every little BS question i had with honesty.. Pics to come.
