Default Back again new 2006 Enthusiast 6mt

So around this time last year I got scammed into buying a base model that they told me was a Enthusiast. Returned it no problems from the dealer 2 days later, an was so discouraged gave up on a 350Z an continued to build up my IS300 monster.

Well the build is coming to an end financialy an physically so its time I look into getting another car. If I hadnt helped on my mother an gotten her BMW 330 knew where I would be in 2years with this econ the way its going I would skip this an go right for the GT-R but maybe later in life?

So I am looking at 3-4 Enthusiast models in my area all under my 25k price range an 40k mileage. One seems the best but its a brand new engine from Pacific Beach Mossy Nissan

Just wondering what you guys would say to this? It looks clean but I havent been able to check the body work for any bondo but from the pictures I cant see anything outstanding there.

That one sounds a little fishy to me. Would warranty cover a new engine if it was the owner's fault he/she was driving without an oil cap?

I bet it was probably a rev-up oil consumption issue replacement. But they prob don't want to say that in their add, for fear that the average consumer would take that as meaning it's gonna happen again with the new motor. The last owner prob got fed up when it started using oil, and traded it in, then they replaced the engine under warranty (no cost to the dealership) and put it on the lot!! So i wouldn't let it turn you away completely! I'd go there and buddy up with the mechanics a bit. Explain to them that you are aware the 06's have oil consumption issues. And see if the truth comes out.

The only thing that really looks fishy to me, is why they have had it for 7 months or less, and are already selling it!

Better keep the IS300 monster. No point in a generic 350Z.
