Stepping up...goodbye TRD HELLLO Nismo
After owning my Celica for the last four years ive finally managed too move on and into a Z. I went with a black 06 enthusiast, its like going from driving a golf cart to a space ship the torque is something ive never felt before. Thanks for listening to my excitment heres a couple pics of the new pride and joy.
Excuse the picture quality please, they were taken on my Iphone and i was a little shakey

very nice and welcome to the family. i to traded in my 00 gts for a 04 base model 2 years ago. needless to say i am on my 3rd z and this one being a brand new 08 base. i love it. i hope you get the enjoyment myself and others have gotten out of our z's and the family we have here.

I know what you feel bro, I had an 02 TRD Celica GT-S with action pkg... and the power is NO COMPARISON between the two... LOL
When I test drove my 03 Touring, I was like, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! I'm in love!" (LOL the dealer let me rip it down the I-10 fwy)
The only thing I miss about the Celica was the gas consumption you know there's a big difference when one car with a larger gas tank gets the same
mileage as another car with a smaller tank :/ ehhh... LOL f*ck it I love speeding down the freeway @ 90+mph like nothing HAHHAHAAHAHHAH!

new baby (not actual car LOL, but this is how it looks like):

Welcome to the Z club.
Your analogy of the comparison is spot on.

Welcome, and congratZ. Take care until you're used to the rear wheel drive and the extra power. Treat her with respect and I'm sure you'll have at least 4 years with your Z. You probably can't be a Toymota for reliability though.
