New Z owner in MA
Hey guys!
Been lurking for a couple months, but figured I'd finally say hi. I hail from the North Shore area, not too many Z's around that I've seen, one or two every now and then on 93 N when coming from Boston.
Got my Z in May, it's an 03 Touring 6MT Silverstone. Got it with only 27k miles, now up around 30k.
Mods so far include the MD 5/16 Iso spacer, 35% tints, and a couple smaller things like the DIY bose fix and speaker grilles. I can post up a pic of the grilles later after work. Can't wait to add some more to the list. Not sure if these pics were post or pre tint, oh well.
Larger pics can be seen here, here, and here

I could never put 20s or big spoilers on a car, I wouldn't be able to take the sight of it.
Personally, I love the look with the little lip that is already on the car. The pics don't really show it, but it is indeed 35% tint, which is MA law. I would love to get a little darker though.
Next immediate mods in the lineup would be a short antenna, Stillen intake, lightened crank pulley, and exhaust. Currently looking at the Nismo exhaust with stock cats, but I'm really curious to see how the Motordyne system will be reviewed.
As promised, here is what I did to the speaker grills. The first pic shows how about half of the stock speaker grill holes are actually not holes at all, but more like dimples than anything else. This blocks the sound, which in turn makes music sound muddy. A little time with a dremel, and the problem is fixed. Wrapped with black speaker fabric, looks 100% like stock
