Default The wife said I needed a more "Grown Up Car"

I previously owned 98 integra with a jdm type-r frontend conversion. It was my project car and was about to get turbocharged. But, my wife didnt like riding in it. She said I looked like I was in high school when I drove it. So, everytime I would add another mod my wife would complain, "You spend all this money and, in the end it still will just be a honda". This wasn't a problem for me because I love my hondas. This was my fourth project car since we got married, all of which were in fact hondas. I did sometimes lose money on the resale but, I loved the joy of the build. The sense of accomplishment. Wives just dont understand.
Then she offered me a deal. She said if I sold the integra I could purchase any car I wanted. Within reason of course. I'm not real big on financing too much on a car. So the hunt was on. I did a lot of research and it came down to three contenders: Honda s2000, g35, and 350z. They all had their benefits and disadvantages. This was a hard choice.
Well, a friend of mine, who happens to be a member here (Spoiled Z), took me for a ride in her 350 and I fell in love with this car. The decision was made at that moment. Now I just had to find one. Well I ended up driving all the way to Atlanta to get mine but it was worth it. I ended up getting a 03 chrome silver touring model with 47k miles for $16,500. Which at the time I thought was a good deal but, after seeing what some people paid on this forum, I felt I over paid a little. But I have no regrets.
Ironically, all this happened after my wife went on deployment to Japan. I sold the integra two days after she left and, picked up the Z about two weeks later. So, she hasn't even got to ride in the Z yet. I emailed her some pics and now she is jealous. And for my wife to admit she was jealous is a big thing. That was until she sent me pics of all the skylines she was seeing. She actually got to ride in one. Now I'm jealous.
But enough of me running my mouth and on with the pics. Cell phone pics sorry. My wife took my digital camera to Japan.

I'm looking into the Motordyne spacers and some nice offset wheels. I already have a JWT Popcharger. I would love to turbo it but I'm debating if I want to deal with a turboed daily driver and the cost to build the motor.
