A local dealer has this car and it looks clean. They are asking too much, but I'm wondering what you think would be a fair price?

If the question is too stupid just tell me, but I haven't been looking at these cars for as long as you folks have been.

Save your money and just wait for the 370z to come out. Sorry, but somebody's bound to say it.

 

I've checked KBB, NADA, and Edmunds. They give a range of values from $27k to $30k all of which seem a bit high in this market. Of course, it is really hard to know what the dealer may have paid at either auction or trade.

 

Don't be sorry, I've thought about it. The 370z is supposed to come out as a 2010 model right?

That is about what I was thinking, somewhere between $24k and $26k.

It’s a reasonable question but not sure if I can answer. The real question is what is the car worth to you? And that I cannot answer.

Yeah, I know. The problem with the 7 is that I don't have enough headroom. Being a touring, it has the sunroof which cuts down on the headroom by a good inch. My head hits the ceiling and it downright hurts when i go over a bump. Wearing a helmet is really funny. I have to pop the sunroof and stick the top of the helmet up in the sunroof.

Can't beat it for pure, unadulterated driving fun however.

OK, I sold the RX and offered $22,000 for the 07. It was turned down. I've since made several other offers, all have been turned down. Granted, they were all low-ball offers.

'05 Touring, 41,000 miles, dealer, offered $16,000, they refused.
'05 Enthusiast, 19,500 miles, dealer, offered $16,000, still waiting on a response.
