Default Thinking about picking up a 35th Ann. Edition

I found exactly what I am looking for, but now I am concerned about a couple of things. After looking at some pics, I noticed that the car did not have the factory strut bar. To me that says that the previous owner added a plenum spacer and the MREV2 manifold. Is there any other way to tell if these mods have been performed? Not that I don't want the mods, I am just concerned about oil consumption issues. The car has 25k miles on it now. I have asked the dealer to send me a print out of the service records. I figure the oil consumption problem should have been sorted out by now -- but, if not, I want to make sure the warranty still applies. I would imagine that any dealer will claim that the addition of the spacer and MREV2 void the warranty. I will probably ask for something in writing from the dealer about the warranty.

I think 35th was 05. Don't think oil issue applied to 05s.

I believe that the rev-up motor was put in the '05 anniversary edition.

Seems to be mostly 2006's that are effected. Get it checked over if you're not sure. Oh, and if there's no strut bar over the engine bay you'll be needing one. Or does it have an aftermarket strut bar?? Heaps do.

From what I understand of the Nissan Warranty, if a plenum spacer is added this will void the warranty.
