Default Moving from the truck world

Hello all! I got my Z two Sundays ago (10.05.2008). 2008 Roadster Touring 6spd, Nogaro Red. Hurray!

I come from a truck world with my best friend also owning a truck. Driving such a big car for the last 4 years and now moving to a much smaller (and significantly faster!) car, it's a big change for me. But I am getting very used to the car now and I feel comfortable in it.

I hope to find a supportive community here as I were able to find while I was with the truck family. I look forward to getting to know you all!

I'll post up some pictures soon. I need a carwash, already.

As long as you're above 18, not stupid, and don't rice out your car... You'll find support, help, and entertainment here.

Welcome, and post pics of the car!

Welcome to the forum. BTW make sure you search for info before you post other wise they will rip you apart.

I owned a Jeep TJ lifted with all the goodies before I bought my Z as well so I know the feeling.

Welcome. Lots of things that a truck can do that a 350Z cannot. Like carry stuff. You will make do with what you have. Downsize your life.

Welcome to the family and congratZ on the sexy Nagaro red! You'll get used to it. The best bit is you don't have to play taxi to people, yay the 2 seater.

Thanks everyone! Woohoo! I do love my baby. And thank you for all of your suggestions already. I've seen some vicious threads on people who didn't search so I'm sure I'll be steering clearly away from those mistakes.

Oh and just a side note about the "carrying stuff" comment, I totally know what you're saying. I used to carry a bunch of poop in the bed of my truck, mostly for church, but now, I can barely fit my drum stands and cymbals. No more driving up to church retreats! Yay!

Anyhow, I'll be more active on here soon enough. Thanks again!

You get quite careful, you can pack quite a bit of stuff in. The luggage nets are really handy to secure stuff in place, so it doesn't shift forward in event of a hard stop.
