Hey everyone, I purchased my first Z this past summer and put it on the road in September. It has a rebuilt title (from theft), 63k miles with an apexi exhaust and injen cold air intake. The exterior and interior need some work. The CF wing has to go and I am not to keen on the tailights. It runs great and def a step up from my 97 jetta. I don't plan on doing any engine modifications. I want to fix exterior and interior to my liking. It is my project for now and I appreciate any suggestions you may have for the car!

 

yea i have that same CF wing but it is on a pearl white 07 dosnt look to bad still on the fence as to if i want to take it off, due to the holes that will be left that have to get filled and repainted. and im with ya on the tail lights. grats on the z though. i am hooked since my 300zx

Welcome, and does you Z actually have Tein suspension, or is it just a sticker?

In terms of mods, it really depends if you're after show or go - with the things that tie into go.

congrats, im with them, lose the wing and the tailights look a little to ricey to me, but if you like them thats all that matters, tints look nice, the headlight look a little glazey, maybe u can start there, either way,

 

Thanks for the replies everyone. I brought the car to Zfever in Tampa which did a great job and they said they could repaint the wing to match the car. So I am still undecided as to what I want to do because I do like the Z without the wing. The lights are def going to go and the headlights are hazy. I really like the CinCity lights that I have seen on the forum. It is tough to tell in the picture but the front bumper needs to get a fresh coat of paint. The suspension is Tien by the way. I am excited to be a Z owner the only thing preventing me from doing all the mods is MONEY haha. Little by little.

Welcome! Yeah, lose the tail lights, stock ones are much better than those. Start looking at wheels, cause that will make it more unique. Check out the classifieds here for some great deals on wheels.

Also, I painted my carbon fiber wing, but left some carbon showing in the middle, just an idea.

I need to get struts as well wich is going to run 300...so first things first.
