Default New Roadster Owner

Just wanted to say I am officially a Z owner. I picked up a 2005 Black Roadster yesterday, in Vancouver, B.C. with 30,000 miles. It's an Amercian model originally from California. Ironically Saturday was cold and sunny for Vancouver about -15 c and today was our first official major snowstorm. For those of you not sure where Vancouver is it is just north of Seattle Washington, where the Seahawks beat the Jets in a snowstorm today. Anyways really excited about the car. Two quick questions . The manual says I should be able to select between F and C temperatures and MPH and KPH when I select the switch for the computer. Anyways nothing happens, Am I resigned to the American choices. Secondly, we don't get a lot of snow in Vancouver, but a lot of rain. How does the Z handle the rain. I'm assuming the tires are sport performance and not all season. With all the rain I am expecting are there any wet weather driving tips . Hopefully I can post pics in the future and share any driving or Z experiences as well as asking the odd newbie question. Cheers and Merry x-mas to all. I hope 2009 brings everyone an enjoyable and safe driving Z experience....Cheers.

On the screen with f & C and MPH & KPH you will see two silver switches on the right. The lower switch should go from f to c, etc.

Thanks for the reply...that's what I can't figure out, when I hit the lower switch on the miles or temperature settings nothing happens....for the other settings the lower switch does work.

The lower switch will only have an effect if there is a small '<' symbol at the bottom of the screen. I don't think there is an option to change the F/C & M/KPH.

the stock tires do not fare well even in light snow.
get all seasons, or in your case...dedicated snow tires (blizzaks)

Welcome to the forum. Hope you don't have to store you Z over Winter. Having spent a number of Xmas's in Seattle ish area, I know what it gets like anywhere around there.

Or heavy rain. But it all depends on your driving style as well.
