New 03 owner - hello all
Hello everyone. I got my 03 Z this week. I love driving it its a blast. The only thing i want to change are the rims, and fix the nav cover. Does anyone know where i could get a new nav door cover?
Oh here it is in all its sexiness.

I don't remember the specifics, but maybe someone around here can pull up the sheet or something.
Those are after market chromed wheels. Not OEM nissan.
And, yes, several have cracked. You should replace them... on your dime. At least keep a close eye out for hairline cracks. If you see a crack, replace ASAP.
I was going to chrome my OEM rims (same as yours) until I learned of the problem.

I tried to put snow tires on my old stock 03 (touring style) last week and 3 of 4 are cracked on the inside. Is this usually only a problem with the 18's after they are chromed, or a general problem with our style 18's?
I'd say after-chrome effects. Chroming weakens metal. Easiest way to get around it if you haven't already chromed them, sand them down, find a good silver/chrome alternative, paint them, clear coat them. Or just buy rims.
