So two weeks ago, i got myself a base 6mt 2007 redline with 25k on it. I drove the car twice and having tested a 06 and 05, this one was on top of my list. One week later, i took the car home . on that drive, i notice gear whine on first and chattering when i had the car on neutral without pressing the clutch.. btw aside for that, the car feels great, i love it, the z is sex and i get a lot of looks.

This wednesday, I took to it nissan and today i get the call. They are putting a new tranny and clutch. To be honest, I'm cool with it, i knew that the noise wasn't normal. What sucks is that i'm gonna be without the car till next week and i just put a new sound system (kenwwod excelon alpine speakers... nice). Ill put pics once i get the car back.

 

UPDATE, got the car back and what a difference, shifting is smoother, no whine or chattering. If you feel that the transmision is going out, got to the dealer. if he gives you a hard time go to another, don't let yourself convince that nothing is wrong with the car.

Now that is here and in good shape, i can start working on it
