Default WHAT HAVE FOLKS BEEN PAYING for 07's?

Hey guys, I'm a former Z32 guy about to pull the trigger on an 07' 350z Touring(no Nav)-Auto; Red(ext)/Blk(int).

I've been pre-approved and headed to the dealership today after work. The car has 10kmiles and I want it for $20k out the door. Has anyone paid cheaper for similar?

Thanks for the input.

You can probably get an 08' for that price. I'd try to talk him a little lower if you go for the 07'.

yes you could get an 08' base for 20k+ttl

.. not a touring. I've seen the higher trim 08s still selling above 25.

20k OTD would be a pretty good deal on a low mileage 07 touring imo.

Thanks. I have to have heated seats for my wife (which is also why I'm settling for an Auto), so the touring is my only option.

For that price unless some dealership is desperate, then no dice. Maybe a 07 touring can be had for 20k out the door with 20,000 + miles. The reason being you live in NY and they are many chumps in NY, willing to pay more.

Yeah I think the dealership is desperate. It's in NJ. I test drove the car almost 7 weeks ago, and the sales guy just recently stopped calling me. I think it's sitting there because it's an auto, and NY people tend to be leasers that always want the newest car. I tried to wait more towards the end of the month(to pressure them on the sales quota), but it's starting to warm up and I don't want to buy when everyone is looking for that Spring/Summer car.

I'll keep everyone posted if the deal goes through for $20k out the door. I'm going to take the NJ Transit out there from World Trade after work. I already have it insured just in case, lol.

the '08's have some amazing deals if you can find one brand new.

at the dealer i went to they said they were desperate to sell the last 08 Z ... however i asked how much it was and they told me 29k not including TTL / alarm / navi ... offered them lower (23k) and they said no way.... guess they weren't that desperate. asked them how low they would have gone after i bought my car and they told me that it was at its discounted price and they wouldn't go lower

Don't feel bad, the real question is are you happy? Seriously, when I bought my 06' Enthusiast it was just under 20K but after grabbing the 7yr/100k warranty, alarm, tinting, certification inspection and other fluffing that I allowed being a first time buyer I ended up paying almost 26K.

People will throw random numbers out all the time but really, nobody is walking out the door with an 07 or 08 for 20,000 unless the dealership is retarded, there are a lot of miles on the car, or something is wrong with it IMO.

after thinking about it for a few hours i agree .... the price may be 20,000 but thats defenetly not including TTL/alarm/warranty ext.... if it is then as stated the dealer is retarded

Well they didn't take my offer so I walked out on them. I left my business card, so we'll see if they call me back before the end of the month with a deal. They want $25k for it, and I'm thinking they might meet me half way at maybe $22.5 OTD. I guess we'll see.

I can afford the asking price, but I want the Z payments to be under $400, as I'm also buying a house in a few months. I'll keep you guys posted. I found the same car in Cali on Auto Trader for $21k with 15kmiles, but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle to fly there and then drive 3 days back accross the country.
