Hi to everyone.....I love my 350z but do have one small issue I hope folks can help with. There seems to be a lot of wind and road noise coming from the hatchback area that I suspect is normal...but it does bother me and I wonder if anyone has ideas on how to quiet down the back..

 

i have an idea....

1. Sit in drivers seat
2.look down near the cd/tape deck
3. turn the **** that says "volume" all the way up to like 31.

lol that's me just TRYING to be a funny guy .... you can go down to any electronics store and get some of the car insulation **** that deafens the noise a bit... but it does weigh quite a bit

Welcome and congratZ. Are you sure the noise is coming from the back? If it is, perhaps check that both the black plastic rubber strips on either side of the hatch are ok. Alternatively it maybe noise coming in through a window that isn't closing 100%.

If you're not sure if the noise is normal see if you can finda another one same age as your Z and test, you'll soon find out.

yeah mine does make noise as well but not bad until i get on the highway then i just turn the music up
