Hey how's it going all? I just bought a brand new 08 base Nogaro red 350Z yesterday. Just thought I'd introduce myself and see if there are any other Z owners here in Houston/Katy. Take it easy everyone.

Nice car and welcome to the Forums, by any chance were you at Wendy's yesterday (saturday)going through the drive thru? Because there was a Z behind my red 08 Z that looked just like yours.

Congrats on the car. Don't forget to get a front license plate holder. Was reading one of the threads the other day about folks in Houston getting stopped and cited for no front plate.

Huyura, well I do have plans but I don't plan on going through with them yet. I may just wait on the warranty to go out just in case so I don't get trouble getting warrany work done if need be, and to save money for the plans heh.

Drew, I want to and I don't want to lol. It just looks ugly... I may just suction cup my plate to my front window. A lot of cars in houston actually roll around without front plates and don't get heat *knock on wood*

looks good man good to see other TX Z owners. I got a little bit of trouble with my front plate but I just got issued a warning no big deal.

 

TSF: I've kind of grown to like the 370, I like how wide the rear is and i love the interior. I just hate the fangs in the front fascia..

It's cool to see Tx z owners on here, I'd like to meet some other tx ppl, esp in houston..

 

Congratz man. I know the Z Club of Houston has a sponsor that is a dealer and they support mods and even install them. So you shouldn't have any issues if you went to that dealer.

cool cool, do any Z owners in town ever all get together? just curious.

 

Not really, I wish they would get together more but they just don't. However there is a local car meet every saturday night at Clasics Pizza on reasearch forest drive. There is at least 1 Z there, usually 2 or 3, and a bunch of nice people and classic cars, and sometimes a few exotics. You should check it out somtime. But, I'm not going to be there this saturday because i'm going to be out of town.

 

Maybe i'll check it out sometime considering if I have time. I'm always pretty busy. I've noticed some of the Z's i've seen just attend the car shows and do some local meets with friends rather than venturing out for other meets.

 

im on the south side of houston in league city. i had a 05' 350z and just upgraded to an 09' 370 i dont know of many guys down here that meet up either :/
