Make sure you do a lot of reading in the VQ35HR forums....
But just to head you off in the right direction.... DO NOT GET THE AEM INTAKE. Do not get any short ram intake for the HR(07-08). The only proven intake to make gains and not lose power liek the others is the Injen True Cold Air Intake. The difference with this intake is that it sits high in the front bumper suckign in cold air raither than gettign heat soaked in the engine bay.

Troll around, ask good questions and most of all do some research and read up on all the different options out there (if you haven't already). I've found that most people change their minds a few times before, during and after they're modding their cars. Just take your time and do it right. NICE RIDE!!!
