Default My new Nismo...

Coming from my old Cobalt SS, this car is just a whole different level of car.

Picked it up yesterday. #1456. I'm in love. Car is so much WIN I can't even explain it. Handles, stops, like a supercar. Better than anything I've ever driven for sure. Power is great for a stock car, I'm getting used to it, definately does not have the power of the old car, but I know it has some serious potential and i'm really looking forward to doing some work on it.

Yeah, Cobalt was nearly 400whp, kept having internal issues, didn't feel like a fully built motor to make 500hp was worth it, so that car went away.

Thanks, I am super happy. Been without anything nice to drive since about Thanksgiving last year, so nice to be back in a real car.

Seats were custom done in leather, by the original owner i'm assuming, or Maroone Nissan where the car was first sold. I was afraid they put base seats in, but they are still Nismo's, just done the way they should be

I'm 23 Hraes, thanks for looking out though

My Cobalt was nasty, I do all my own work, including the forged pistons and stuff after I cracked a stock piston, but aparrently the next weak point in the motor was the side of the #1 cyl sleeve. I didn't feel like doing a sleeved block to make that kind of power, and spinning tires at 80mph was stupid IMO. FWD sucks.

CongratZ on the Nismo. Did you buy it from someone here? If not register it on the Nismo subforum.

Congrats on the car! Great handling and super aggressive body kit. I was thinking on getting a Nismo but decided they were starting to become a dime a dozen as well...
