Very Happy '07 Owner!
Hey guys and gals,
Got my first Z ever, a Red '07 Grand Touring with 10K miles on it.
I love just about everything about it, except a rock chip on the front end which I got the first month. I think I will keep it mostly stock for a while until I think it's time for a change, do you have any words of advice? - Check it out:

Why get wheels? I love these wheels. That is one of the reasons I got the Grand Touring. 19" factory rear really makes it stand apart from aftermarket or other stockers. I'm sure you guys can tell a Grand Touring from far away. Were there other models with the 19" Rays Eng wheels?
Turbo? Some day. Any particular brand preferential?
Please advise.

Congrats on the car,
I agree, the stock touring looks awesome. Only two things I would do is firstly, drive down to the Honda dealer and ask for an S2000 antenna. Screws in where yours is but its shorter without losing reception. Secondly, I'd get some wheel spacers since you're keeping those rims. They'll bring those pretty wheels out flush with your body and give it a more agressive look and wider stance.

Now, I have read the RDX antenna is the way to go. Same antenna as the S2000?

Congrats on a good deal for such a good looking Z.
You would have paid at least $10K-$12K more for it new. Depreciation sucks for us, but its a win for you.
Don't worry about rock chips, with such a low car its bound to happen.
P.s. come check out the SoCal section too if you haven't already done so:

How wide of wheel spacers? Do the wheel spacers adversely do anything harmful to the auto? Will it do anything weird to the suspension or weaken the structural integrity of it? Or is the thing built to handle the extra stresses?
Now, I have read the RDX antenna is the way to go. Same antenna as the S2000?

As for the spacers, technically they add a couple pounds and add a little more stress on the hub, but it can handle a lot more abuse than just getting the car sideways. Also it'll have less lateral roll, not to mention looks better.
The only other things I'd do if I had your sexy 2007 is get a couple JWT popcharger intakes (http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/cus...asp?PartID=475) and some clear bumper lenses to flow with your clear headlights. Plus orange and red don't go together. Eventually when you start getting the mod itch in a couple years, there will be a lot more performance products available for your 2007 Z.

Not sure about the RDX antenna, I got the S2000 one because i knew for sure it would fit and has good reception. As I recall, RDXs have antenna on top of the roof w/ a sharkfin base?
