Default New Member - Possibly buying a Z. Your opinions on this car please?

Hi, new member here. I'm looking into purchasing a Z for the first time in norcal. This is a 2006 coupe with 23k miles with base options. Everything is in great shape and runs well. Previous owner is an elderly man using the car only on weekends. I'm trying to negotiate the price to $16k.

My only problem is the coupe model. I know its the base model so I'm curious if its popular during resells?

Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Depends on what you want to do with the car. I personally would not want a base as I enjoy the creature comforts and want a LSD. But on the other hand if you are gonna track the car or something you may want to stick with the base and not pay for non-essentials. Read this there is a chit ton of information for you. ----> Top 100+ Questions Answered Here

Welcome to the forum. Do you mean the current owner is older man, or is the car on it's second owner? So he's done roughly 6k a year then, not bad. Z's are going for good prices as far as a buyer is concerned. Is this the first one you've looked at? Always a smart move to look at more than one to be sure you're making the right decision, unless you have your heart set on this one.
